Terms & Conditions
the fine print, made simple
1. How booking works
Send us an enquiry with your event date, location, event type, guest numbers, budget, venue access details and requirements.
We'll reply with a written quote. Your booking is confirmed only once you accept the quote in writing and pay the agreed booking payment. Until then, dates aren't held.
2. Payments
The booking payment amount and the date the balance is due will be set out in your written quote. Your quote will also explain your cancellation rights and how refunds work.
3. Changes & cancellations
Please tell us about any changes or cancellations in writing (WhatsApp, message or email).
Refunds and rescheduling depend on your agreed contract, any costs we've already incurred, and your consumer rights. None of this affects your statutory rights.
4. Delivery & setup
Before booking, we'll confirm with you: access, parking, stairs, loading, venue permission, and setup and collection times.
Any extra costs (for example delivery, out-of-hours setup or difficult access) will be explained and agreed with you before you book. We won't add surprise charges.
5. Hire equipment
- Please follow any instructions we give for using the equipment.
- Don't let anyone use it in ways that weren't agreed.
- Tell us straight away about any damage.
Any security deposit, deductions and return arrangements will be agreed with you in advance and written into your quote.
6. Safety
Bouncy castles, soft play, hot tubs and electrical equipment must be used in line with the safety guidance, supervision requirements and manufacturer instructions we provide. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that can't be excluded by law.
7. Photography
We love sharing our work, but we'll always ask for your consent before using photos where you, your guests or any children can be identified in our marketing. You can say no, or change your mind later.
8. Complaints
If something isn't right, we want to know and put it right.
- Contact Juanita by phone or WhatsApp on 07469 871 580, or message @jpluxevents.
- Please put your complaint in writing with your event date and what went wrong, plus photos if helpful.
- We'll acknowledge it, look into it, and give you a written response explaining what we'll do.
